How we research pricing, source programming procedures, and disclose the ways the site makes money. If any of this stops being true, this page changes.

Procedures

Key fob and remote programming steps are rewritten from documented vehicle procedures. We do not invent programming steps. Where a vehicle requires diagnostic equipment, we say so plainly and point you to a locksmith or dealer instead of pretending it's a driveway job.

Pricing

Cost ranges are compiled from published locksmith pricing, cited on each cost guide, and reviewed before they publish. Prices vary by location, vehicle, and time of day, so we give ranges, not false precision, and keep them current.
